Jackson Blues Festival

You don’t have to travel to Chicago or Detroit to hear and see musicians performing incredible, live blues music. Delighting fans for almost a decade, the Jackson Blues Festival is Jackson’s only dedicated music festival. Crowds gather in the thousands, toting lawn chairs and ready to enjoy some of the best blues musicians making music today.

Bands featured in the 2009 Jackson Blues Festival are devoted to playing the blues with an original approach. As the organizers at Slipped Disk Productions say, “This is a Blues festival for Blues fans by Blues musicians.”

The 2009 Jackson Blues Festival will be held June 4, 5 and 6, rain or shine, at the Jackson County Airport.
