Art Galleries
It’s hard not to be creatively inspired when around Jackson. That comes out in the art that is produced. See some of it the next time you’re in town.
Dale Fisher Art Gallery
1916 Norvell Road
Grass Lake, MI 49240
(517) 522-3705
The gallery features art images from a rarely seen perspective; during his 47-year-career Dale has worked exclusively from a helicopter. His powerful, breathtaking pieces are not only framed as fine art but are also used for advertisements, brochures, public relations, and many other forms.
The Jackson History Gallery
A look at the history of the Jackson area through the Museum’s collection of objects, photographs, and documents. The resolution table used during the 1854 founding of the Republican Party “Under the Oaks,” a restored 1916 Marion-Handley automobile, and a Michigan State Prison woven coverlet are just a few objects from the Museum’s collection. Located in the Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History.
